Alyn Wallace Photography 'Zodiac' – Penyfan, Brecon Beacons Here the Milky Way is seen spanning over the North face of Penyfan and it's also the first time I've captured the elusive zodiacal light. That white triangle of light seen diagonally sprouting from the mountain is actually tiny dust particles in Space that lie in the same plane as the planets. In the right conditions it can be viewed just after sunset in Spring(or before sunrise in Autumn) as it is lit up by the sun's light. It's a somewhat rare phenomenon and it's been top of my list for a while now…
